Francis van Broekhuizen ontmoet Koninklijk Tilburgs Mannenkoor
Francis van Broekhuizen
Francis van Broekhuizen is one of the most versatile and beloved sopranos in the Netherlands. She combines her impressive vocal talent with a unique, disarming stage personality. In addition to her career as a singer, she is known from television, her book, and the theatre programme Schandalig mooie opera. During this concert, she presents the programme in her own original way — and of course, you will also hear her as a soloist.
Koninklijk Tilburgs Mannenkoor Sint Caecilia
In the run-up to their 150th anniversary, the Royal Tilburg Men’s Choir Sint Caecilia presents a challenging concert that the singers eagerly anticipate. Together with fantastic partners in the Concert Hall, they perform opera music for men’s choir — a genre that suits them perfectly. This experienced choir will let you enjoy well-known works from famous operas.
Amin Amel Ebrahimi
Amin Amel Ebrahimi (1997) has been conductor of the Royal Tilburg Men’s Choir since January 2024. Born in Iran and trained at the Fontys Academy of Music and Performing Arts, he combines his Persian background with a fresh perspective on classical music. As a conductor and composer, he is active on prominent stages at home and abroad, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Philharmonie de Paris. His work is characterised by a unique blend of cultures, creativity and craftsmanship.
Stichting Zuid-Nederlands Opera & Operettekoor Wilhelmina
Stichting Zuid-Nederlands Opera & Operettekoor Wilhelmina from Breda is a classical vocal choir that keeps the rich tradition of opera and operetta alive in the south of the Netherlands. With passion and dedication, they make this beautiful musical style accessible to a wide audience.
Brabant Chamber Orchestra
The Brabant Chamber Orchestra (BCO) is a dynamic collective of young, international musicians based in Tilburg. Since 2020, BCO has given classical music a fresh, contemporary form. With musicians from more than 20 countries — from South Korea to Syria and from Ukraine to Cuba — and a bold programming style, they combine tradition with innovation. Every performance is an immersive experience that makes classical music relevant and accessible to everyone.
This performance has no interval.
