In 2022, the singer‑songwriter travelled to Nashville in the United States to fulfil his dream: recording an album with some of the biggest names in bluegrass. Together with artists such as Jerry Douglas and Stuart Duncan, he created Bluefinger. He later toured the Netherlands with this album, joined by the country’s finest bluegrass musicians.

That taste left him wanting more. Now comes Bluegrass Volume 2, a new repertoire freshly written by Bertolf and his band. With instrumental mastery and infectious playing joy, the musicians perform their new songs, interwoven with rich stories and humorous anecdotes against a backdrop of musical history. Once again, the performance guarantees virtuosity, infectious energy and beautiful multi‑part harmonies.

Bertolf Lentink graduated from the conservatory and performed in the band of Ilse DeLange. His solo career took off with the single Another Day, after which he released seven solo albums and won a Zilveren Harp. He also spent years performing with Her Majesty and was part of the supergroup Musketiers.
