From Hoorne Studios, a magical fairy tale comes to life again in Doornroosje de Musical. Falling asleep during the performance? Not at all! With beautiful music, stunning sets and costumes, cheerful dances, and a hefty dose of humor, you're on the edge of your seat.

In a land far away, Princess Sleeping Beauty is born. To celebrate her arrival, a grand feast is thrown. But oh dear… the clumsy wizards Thibalt and Corry are not invited. In anger, they cast a spell: before her 21st birthday, Sleeping Beauty will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep forever. The entire kingdom is in chaos. Luckily, three good fairies keep the princess away from all the spinning wheels in the land.

Then the big day arrives: Sleeping Beauty turns 21. She receives an enchanted spinning wheel as a gift, and before she knows it, she, along with the entire castle, falls into a deep sleep. Will anyone be able to break the spell?
