Part 1: ten colorful dance rockets

In the first part of FireWorks , you will see ten brand new dance pieces. Each work is inspired by carefully selected music, featuring choreography by Mauro Bigonzetti, Virginie Brunelle, Stijn Celis, Dominique Dumais, Marco Goecke, Johan Inger, Barak Marshall, Benjamin Millepied, and Sofia Nappi. The result: a beautiful collection of styles, atmospheres & emotions. 

Part 2: iconic works in a new guise

Next, it’s time for four gems from the rich repertoire of Gauthier Dance. These masterpieces from the past are brought back to life with surprising twists. Experience Lickety-Split by Alejandro Cerrudo and ABC by Eric Gauthier – classics that gain a new brilliance in these fresh performances.

For the grand finale, Gauthier Dance and Gauthier Dance Juniors join forces in a breathtaking version of Ravel’s Bolero, choreographed by Andonis Foniadakis. On trampolines! What begins with subtle rhythms and playful bouncing grows into an explosion of jumps, shouts, and pure joy of life. And when the confetti cannons go off, the energy bursts out of the hall and no one can remain seated.

With FireWorks, Gauthier Dance shows how limitless contemporary dance can be. A performance full of energy, emotion & spectacle – you won’t want to miss it.
