The production is set in the turbulent 1930s: a time of glitter and glamour, but also of fear of war and poverty. In this tempestuous world, Josien, a naïve girl from the provinces, ends up in an Amsterdam boarding house for performers. There, she becomes entangled in the lives of revue artists Jules and Lisette. What begins as a romantic adventure unfolds into a story of forbidden loves, an unexpected pregnancy and impossible choices.

Foxtrot is filled with unforgettable songs you can sing along to effortlessly: Dansen op een vulkaan, Sorry dat ik besta and the grand showbiz opening number De dertiger jaren. The legendary Gerrie van der Klei returns to the musical after 47 years, now as the boarding‑house owner Mathilde. You will also see Renée de Gruijl and a top‑class cast of actors and dancers.
