Together with her ensemble, Hadewych searches for echoes of folk music from different countries. Old melodies resonate within contemporary music and reveal how sounds move, change and repeatedly acquire new meaning. In this way, an intimate concert emerges in which you not only listen to beautiful music, but also to where that music comes from.

With music by Hildegard von Bingen, Rebecca Clarke and Fazıl Say, Hadewych builds a programme that comes close. You hear something old, something new and, above all, something personal.

Dutch Classical Talent
Hadewych van Gent is a finalist of Dutch Classical Talent, an important talent development programme in Dutch classical music. A professional jury selects four top young musicians who follow a coaching programme and tour the major concert halls of the Netherlands. In this way, they are given the opportunity to develop their own programme and establish their name. Previous participants include names such as Tania Kross, Lavinia Meijer and Nora Fischer.
