For Adem van het woud, the Netherlands Wind Ensemble and Duda Paiva Company travelled to the Amazon region, where they collaborated with the Kamayurá community. That encounter forms the foundation of a theatrical concert performance that invites you to listen with new ears.
Inspired by their worldview and the music of Heitor Villa‑Lobos, the performance weaves live music, movement and puppetry into a ritual of listening. The project recognises Indigenous peoples as guardians of the Amazon and carriers of invaluable knowledge.
A meditative and physical experience, rooted in ethical exchange and mutual consent, told through foam, breath and sound.
