We take you back to a time of no future, housing shortages and unemployment. But also a time of teased hair, shoulder pads, glitter and the Walkman. A time when six young women (some not yet 18) stepped into a format devised by men. In identical outfits, as ‘singing dolls’, on their way to full venues and major hit songs. Until they feel: this is our life too. And they decide to take matters into their own hands. For themselves—and for each other.

Dolly Dots the musical offers an energetic evening with an outstanding cast, featuring ‘The Dot of the Day’ from the original Dolly Dots as a special guest each evening.

With a live band on stage, a top cast of some of the most promising musical theatre talents of the moment shines, including Teuntje Post, Pip Lucas, Kiki Loonstra, Yara Brand, Shanna Slaap and Juliette van Leeuwen.
