The Hungarian company Recirquel presents Paradisum, a hypnotic blend of circus and contemporary dance. In their signature style—cirque‑danse—acrobatic skill and choreography flow seamlessly into one another. Director and choreographer Bence Vági creates a world in which aerial and floor acrobatics merge with contemporary dance. He explores the myth of rebirth after the silence of a devastated world, where communication happens through the body and movement becomes the only shared language. The concept imagines how a new kind of human might exist in this paradisiacal, utopian state.

Paradisum premiered at the international Edinburgh Fringe Festival and was selected for the prestigious CINARS Biennale, where it was recognised as one of the most remarkable contemporary dance productions.
