In this concert, VOCES8 explores the layered beauty of music inspired by the heavens, human connection and the places we call ‘home’. At the heart of the programme is Lucy Walker’s new composition Give Me Your Stars, which seeks a balance between cosmic wonder and personal emotion.

The programme ranges from the radiant polyphony of Regina Caeli (Tomás Luis de Victoria) to timeless jazz standards. In between are reflective works by Eric Whitacre and Ola Gjeilo, traditionals such as Danny Boy, and atmospheric evocations of cities and starlight in April in Paris and New York, New York.
