In Zeg maar dag, three performers make all sorts of attempts at saying goodbye and being left behind. They wave, disappear, pretend to leave, wave some more, embrace, sing to one another and practise staying — even when the other does not. The sadness of missing someone and the joy of finding each other again alternate in rapid succession. Because what sometimes overwhelms you can also fade away, only to gently surface again later. And perhaps sadness is simply love trying to find its way out.

With few words and plenty of music, Zeg maar dag lets emotions flow in a poetic way, offering comforting space for big feelings in small people.
