Choreographer Stijn Celis created a contemporary adaptation of Swan Lake for the whole family. Following the successful tour three years ago, Introdans brings this world-famous and beloved classic back to the stage – in a sparkling, contemporary adaptation for young and old alike. The dance language is powerful and expressive, rich in poetry, grotesque humour and a considerable dose of imagination.
The Belgian choreographer Celis has given Swan Lake a surprisingly fresh, humorous and innovative twist on the “ballet of all ballets”: Swan Lake, which, 125 years after its very first performance, is still danced worldwide. Swan Lake is a grand and compelling spectacle, in which the entire Introdans ensemble shines in an impressive set, carried by the timeless, majestic and moving music of Tchaikovsky.
