The Zemlinsky Quartet and soprano Lisa Larson present an afternoon in which voice and string quartet naturally move towards one another. You hear a programme that opens with clarity and gradually gains depth. From the clear sound world of Germaine Tailleferre and the narrative power of Respighi to the emotional depth of Schumann.
Lisa Larson is a much‑loved guest on the concert stage and in opera. Her voice is clear and direct. She gives weight to the text without seeking grand gestures. Together with the Zemlinsky Quartet, an interplay emerges in which every phrase breathes and every transition feels natural.
The Zemlinsky Quartet has for years been among the leading string quartets of the Czech Republic. You hear how close‑knit this ensemble is. The musicians respond sharply to one another while allowing the music space at the same time.
