Ensemble Ouranos

Kamermuziek Souvenir

Ensemble Ouranos, together with pianist Tanguy de Williencourt, performs a programme that reveals a different side of chamber music each time. The combination of wind instruments and piano sounds clear and direct, allowing you to follow every detail effortlessly.

The musicians met at the Conservatoire de Paris and quickly developed into a close-knit ensemble with their own signature. Since their prize at the competition in Lyon, they have appeared on international stages and worked with a variety of musicians. This experience is reflected in their ensemble playing: alert, precise and always in motion.

In this concert, Tanguy de Williencourt joins as the sixth player. This creates additional tension and space in the music. Mozart sounds light and assured, Ligeti sharpens your senses, Mussorgsky takes you into images that become almost tangible, and Poulenc brings a playful twist that lingers.

In the intimate setting of Souvenir, you sit close to the musicians and hear how everything comes together.
